Upcoming Vacation Plans?
Is anyone planning anything soon? I can live vicariously through you. 
I have a weekend crop in July & January - in Stony Brook. Next summer I am doing a one week summer rental in NC, VA or somewhere along the east coast. That's it for now.

Im trying to get Harry to agree to go to Aruba in October.
Since I had lost my job and have a new one with a contract that is up at the end of the year (i know that I will extended for at least another 6 months after that) he wants to just watch out money for a bit...BUT I want to go away!!

Lisa, I see his point but if you're going to be under contract for the next 12 months so I dont see that it's a big deal.
Rebecca, that sounds very exciting! How long are you going? Can you tell us about your plans so far?
Donna, I always wanted to go to Myrtle Beach. Are you golfers? I hear it's great for that.

I'm jealous, too! that's so awesome! Take lots of pictures so we can live vicariously through you!
We are going to see my in-laws at their lake house over 4th of July weekend. I can't wait. Other than that, no big trips planned -- DH is in school PT on top of work and we can't ever quite coordinate our schedules. I am planning to take two weeks off for a much needed break later this summer, but I'll be sticking close to home.

I don't golf, but DH does. We're going with another couple so that the guys can golf during the day and myself and my friend Christina can sit on the beach all day, go to lunch, shopping, etc. This was the only way my husband was getting me to go to Myrtle Beach!

Lisa- maybe an apartment rental would be cheaper than a hotel?
We'll be in Sydney for about a week. I want to do some shore diving and see if we can do some horseback riding.

No, unfortunately, the dogs have to stay home...my parents and my sister will be watching them.

We just did a big trip in April so we have to refill the coffers for the next one! So far we are going up the Thousand Islands for a long weekend in August and possibly London to visit friends in the fall

I've always wanted to goto Austrailia!! The long plane ride deters the DH. 
We have a couple of small trips planned.
This month we're doing a weekender to the new Sands in Bethlehem, PA. (Couldnt think of anything to do within driving distance, and I kept on seeing the commercials... The Crayola factory is there too, we're going to go there  Yes, the childfree couple is going to the crayola factory...
August we're going for 3 days to some resort in Maryland.. the in-laws are treating us so why not?
October we're going a road trip to the R&R Hall of Fame, Cubs game and Notre Dame Football game. I could care less about the baseball game (Actually I'm not even going to the game- DH and his friend are, I'm going to see the sights in Chicago on my own) Football game same, but I'm actually going to goto the game. It's more about the adventure of the trip and seeing the R&R Hall of Fame.
I'm dying to take a cruise in November, but I don't know if all the planets will align to make it happen!

Last week of July: Maine (family trip/parents' 40th anniversary)
November: Possibly Puerto Rico but may change to Fla depending on finances, because...
March: IRELAND, baby!!!! Whoo-hoo!!! My 3rd time but DH's first!!

My goddaughter is coming tomorrow night and is staying with us for a month! I am so excited! I don't have the whole time off, but the last week she is here in July, her mother (my bff), her stepfather are coming to stay with us for a week. We all have off together and have a ton of things planned for that week..baseball games, NYC excursions, Montauk, etc.
I have a weekend crop the end of July, scrapbooking with the girls  Christine & Lisa! LOL.
October - a week upstate
November - a week in Florida
And next June - a cruise to Italy!!!

July 5th we're going to my parents beach house in the OBX in NC with them and my aunts and uncles and some cousins
THEN our big trip is in august- we're going to CA for a friends wedding. the wedding is in San diego, but we're flying into San Fran like 10 days before and driving all down the coast. can't wait! i've never been to CA!

I have off the week of 7/6. Not going anywhere... DH has off that Monday and the rest of the week will be spent getting Doc appts out of the way and probably some shopping

DH and I are going to WDW in july. That's about it so far. The annual Disneyland trip in Jan too but we aren't really planning for that one quite yet.

Even though I just went to Vegas in May, I think I'm going again this summer with my mother.
Also cruising to Alaska and possibly checking out Seattle for a few days if the airfare cooperates.

Rome for 4 days, 1 day each in Portofino, Florence, Pisa, Messina, Naples and 2 days in Venice.
We also had one day in Dubrovnik Croatia, 3 days in Barcelona and 2 days in Madrid.
Some places were warm, some were chilly but at least nothing was brutally hot being I hate the heat.
We only had to wait to get into the Vatican.
We really felt we had free reign everywhere else.
I hope you go and have a great time.
