UPDATE - FIXED. Smart phone more like creepy phone... please help font issue!
Update- I changed the font to Arial and the issue went away... hopefully it stays that way!

I am hoping someone out there has had the same problem - i'd google it but I wouldn't even know what to google. I got a new blackberry last night, it's a Torch. I have AT&T.

I'm talking my gmail messages. My aol messages. And my work emails. All of them.
Anyone know anything about this?
I feel like I'm opening a freakin ransom note every time I look at an email on my phone!

I can't help you, all the lowercase i's on my blackberry have lost their dots. Very annoying. Back to the phone shop we go! GoOd LuCK

so weird what do they think you are 12?
under setup -setup wizard is font.could that be it?
mines set to bbalpha sans.

you think restoring factory settings? i mean i literally just got the phone last night and the emails have been like that since i set it up... if it's a brand new phone woudn't it already be on factory settings?

i would try that anyway, my default technology fix-all for everything i own is either restoring (iphone), resetting (cable) or restarting (computer).
