Today is my first day of the second trimester! I am officially 4 months today!!! I really felt like it took fooooorever!
Ladies of the 1st tri - there's hope in sight - keep counting the days!
UPDATE - Sooooo I am not really sure if I am out of the first tri - a lot of people say its the first 12 weeks. Some books/webistes say up to 14 weeks. Its so confusing.
Anyway - I am officially 13w1day!
Congrats!!!! But...
4 months? I'm 3 days in front of you (Due Aug. 21) - I thought I was 3 months

5th, 6th, 7th, 8th weeks - 2nd month
9th, 10, 11, 12th, week - 3rd month
13th week - 4th month

well i would say you are right, but i think i am going to stick with 13W1D as being out of my first tri, b/c a month isn't 28 days, it's a little longer than that.
basically i have decided to think of it this way b/c it makes the most sense for me: when i have COMPLETED 13W, i will be ending my first tri.
my LMP was Dec. 6th, and i count that as 0W1D.
so 0W1D - 13W0D is the first tri.
13W1D - 26W0D is the second tri.
26W1D - 40W0D is the third tri (i made this the longest b/c according to your pregnancy week by week, your "due date" is anywhere from your 39th week to your 40th.)
BUT: i count my "months" on the 6th, so on march 6th, i will be three months.
hope that makes sense.

Sounds about right. I'm due Aug. 20, and I got confused a bit too when you said you are 4 months. We are almost on a similar schedule.
