I understand what you are saying June but we adopted him under false pretenses and the maintinance of eye drops and the high cost of the surgery is just to much for us right now...We could have swung in had we not just bought a house but out mortgage is costing over $3000 a month and not incl utils or any other bills we have and we also have a son to support and I just can't right now. That is the bottom line...We can't take on a sick animal right now and I feel terrible about it but had I know it from the get go, knowing our financial situation I would never have considered it.

Maybe talk to the vet about getting a discounted price
or check out another vet and let them know your situation, there are vets out there that will work with you.
Please do not give him back to the original owners
