UPDATE-i am supposed to "graduate" tomorrow...nervous!
i see a specialist bc of infertility issues.
i am supposed to be released to a reg ob tomorrow if my sono goes well... tomorrow i am supposed to be 11 weeks.
super nervous that i made it this far..but something bad will happen and wont graduate. i am this close...but yet it feels sooo far away!
just a worried vent lol ty
update...
well i did graduate! holy macaroni! thank you all for the support. this almost feels real!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didnt want to leave my RE either but it made it all feel real and like it was all going to be ok once I left. I was ready

I didn't want to leave my RE either. I really like him. I wish he delivered babies.
I think it's the office, because they deal with such a delicate subject. Everyone is just so nice there. In my OB's office, the receptionist has the personality of a wet noodle.
But I like the OB's office just because it means things are going well.

I know the feeling! When I walked out of the RE's office after "graduating" at week 8, I cried! It felt unreal. I felt sad to leave them because they're all so wonderful and but so happy because that was what I had been praying for. I was very emotional!

It is super scary, but you will be OK. I was released from my RE at 8 wks, so to be released at 11 is more than I got!!
I highly recommend getting a fetal doppler. In a few weeks you will be able to hear the baby's heartbeat with it. I find it so reassuring! I still use it now at 22 wks! I remember being pregnant with DD and using it the night before I had her!!! Totally worth the money for peace of mind

I cried when I left Dr. B too. It was so strange to not have a sono every week and not have him and his quick email response at my disposal.
You're so nit alone. If it makes you feel any better, I'm now 32 weeks with a perfectly healthy baby girl after an uncomplicated pregnancy (knock on wood!)

I cried when my RE tried to release me and he felt bad and took me for an additional week! I love my OB practice and eventhough it's scary to leave your new adventure is about to begin. Good luck

The last re visit is bittersweet. You're going into the world of the unknown, its definitely different at the ob but they know what they are doing as well. I had tears streaming down my face on the day I left when I was pg with dd. Its hard to give up the comfort of the RE, and all the personal attention you receive there. Eventually the ob starts to feel the same way. Best of luck!

I was so sad and afraid to graduate After being monitored so closely for so long, you feel like ,wait, what, I don't have to go for an appointment once or twice a week..
One day you just accept that you are just a regular pregnant person... Congrats!!! What you always wanted!
