UPDATE 5/24.......she is having contractions this morning we are waiting for the dr to come in ....I appreciate all the prayers I still can't believe this is happening right now
JUNE 6 ...........Thomas was born today by csection weighing 4lbs 5oz dont know many details yet just that he is in the NICU and my SIL still has high bp and she isnt feeling well
thank you for all your thoughts and prayers
JUNE 19.................Thomas came home yesterday and we saw him last night and he is sooooo beautiful and is the smallest baby I have ever held Thank you to all who have prayed and thought about him and our family through this scary time
Thank you so much I will be watching this baby too once my SIL goes back to work which means I get to experience having a baby all over again w/o being pregnant and middle of the night feedings) I didnt realize how serious the situation was at first but now the drs arent sure she will even make it 2 more weeks I am just very worried and pray they come out of this ok
My SIL had her two kids at 32 weeks and 31 weeks, due to what seems to be the same issue. They are bright, wonderful kids today at 6 years old and 4 years old. It's amazing how medicine has made certain things much easier. Yet, it's so mentally and physically draining until they come home. I just wanted you to know that you're not alone.
I know too know the fear and I hope she doesnt have to deliver early. I had preeclampsia with other issues and they took DD at 32 wks 5 days. She stayed in NICU for 21 long days and is perfect. Those steroids really help. I truely hope she can skip the NICU stay though.
