UPDATE Ladies, I couldn't..........
dissappoint myself!!!!!!!!!!! I'm TEAM GREEN!!!! OMG I did it!!!! It was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo DARN EASY!!!!!! All that whinning and crying and stressing for nothing. It was so easy for me to say the words..We don't want to know!
I am so proud of myself b/c this is going to be a magical moment for me and DH!
Thank you to everyone on this board and on the parenting board. Your encouragement so totally helped!!!!

You know what, if you DID want to know the gender ( like I did ) and then you tell people they all say " aww but you ruined the surprise " or "don't you want to be surprised at the delivery ? "
You just can't win with people. Stay strong , and ignore everyone else's input on what to do with YOUR child .

you can do it. just make sure to tell the sonographer in the beginning tha tyou dont want to know.

It is a great experience not knowing. There is something so special about finding out in the delivery room. I love remembering that moment and thinking, this is how my mom found out or my grandma, etc....its a nice tradition IMO.
You wont regret not finding out! And the next few months will be so much fun especially with yoru kids guessing what you are having and why they think that and having them come up with both girl and boy names, etc.
GO GREEN!!!!

soooo true.
I found out with my other 3 but I need to be this last final time.
I told Jess CaMacho that I'm duct taping my mouth. I want to hand the tech a paper that says don't want to know and then put tape on my mouth so I don't regret saying something like......oh just tell me!

OK I want to try to help you, Carolyn because I  you so much..
My Bff was pregnant with me and just gave birth 2 weeks ago yesterday.. although my pregnancy has been soexciting and amazing.... HERS WAS so much more.. We would guess, and make up names, and talk every day on what it was.. She drove me crazy demanding it was a boy and if anyone said it was a girl she would go crazy.. Well she had a girl!! And if you speak to her and her husband about moment when they saw this baby for the first time you would cry your eyes out!! THEY WENT INTO SHOCK!!!! I think she is still in shock 2 weeks later.. I dont know about my moment when I see my baby but I will tell you this If I ever got pregnant again I will not find out next time around.. And although she wanted to know soooo bad what she was having she said she would not find out next time either!!! HTH!!! Just try it!!! YAY team
