Update on Kitchen project-Updated 10/1 with Granite and additional cabinet pics!!!
Okay...had to order 5 new cabinets for the right side due to the fact that we needed to have a partial soffitt due to a waste pipe that we did not "see" when we originally checked the soffitts for pipes. This mistake cost us an additional $2000...but at this point...whatever...
and right now...the plumbing and the electrical work is done, new walls are up, spackled and taped, and my new kitchen and foyer floors are installed.
Cabinets will be in by Tuesday or wednesday...granite will be installed by next monday, Then all we need to do is wait for the new top cabinets to come in and we are all done...
anyone looking for a fabulous, maticulous, speedy, licensed contractor...let me know.....
I will post pics later.
My new floors are insane....

The fridge!!!
Cabinets going in tomorrow and granite will be templated on Friday for install next week!!!
9/9/09 Cabinets are in...well except for the fve new ones I had top order on the top of one side....granite will be teplated tomorrow!!!
 
Now just need my backsplash..which I changed my mind about again...have to reorder that again!!

I LOVE your floors. Beautiful. And I am so jealous of your fridge. We have a side by side stainless steel (the previous owners bought it before they put the house on the market.) Yours is my dream fridge. (How sad that I dream about a fridge!  ) I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your progress.

nuts I can't seem your pics. 
wow that is some quick contractor. that is great. they are working really quick. what kind of work does your contractor do? just kitchens? would like his name and number if he does more than kitchens. thanks.

he told us 1.5 weeks from start to finish...he was right...we had to reorder the sink side top cabinets...which will be in in 2 more weeks..everything else will be done except for those top cabinets...he's done other work in our house...he is is amazing...licensed and insured

What Brand are the cabinets - I love the pull outs for your pantry and how they finished the ends off with dummy doors.
