Update on my bad tiling job...now finished by SUPERB tiler
And I know he was a good tiler because he had a van with his name on it and personalised license places that sald "TILFX"
So here are some pics of the now almost finished kitchen...
And the backsplash
So now we just have some bits and bobs to finish up, kickboards have to be recut and put back in, new electrical sockets have to be done and the painting has to be done also..we might get this sucker done in another month or so!!! But probably not before Christmas. The builders that we sacked have not contacted us at all, and we are guessing that they will not contact us. They did a really terrible job and cost us money in the end!

So glad it worked out. I mentioned your ordeal to my FIL and he said, "Where does this girl live? Maybe I can help her out."
I said, "Ummmm... I don't think you can help her"
He said, "I've been in this business for over 40 years, I've seen everything and can definitely get the job fixed."
I said, "OK, but are you licensed to work in England?"
He stared at me... did this and said, "Where did you come from? "
The kitchen is beautiful and I'm glad it worked out. You must be so relieved.

I actually thought about you the other day. I was in someone's house and there tile was crooked up against the cabinets & I totally noticed it & thought of you
LOVE the back splash! Floor looks beautiful! I also really love the brick island. Enjoy your new kitchen!!
