UPDATE SEP 8*****Please say a prayer for my DH

Sorry I haven't been on to update sooner !
So after he was admitted to his room ( 16 hrs later) the doc comes in and tells us it was a misdiagnosis ,and it was over-read !! I was so relieved and so mad at the same time ! I know they took the right actions to treat my dh ,but the stress I went through was just insain!! I truly felt my heart breaking see'ing him go through all that !! We had 3 hrs of sleep then drove upstate for my brothers wedding ( it made my brother soooooo happy we made it ) ! My sis apoligized , but I don't know if I can forgive her for not being there for me when I needed her most !
Thank you for the fm's, prayers, and hugs ,I truly believe they worked ! I really love you guys !
He was just admitted to the hospital for a blood clot in his arm  He has been having tons of pains in his arm ,and we finally went to the ER last night ,and they did a CT scan ! On top of this I got into a huuuuuge fight with my sister b/c she thinks that I should still drive 5 hrs to my brothers wedding ( he is getting married tomorrow ) with 3 kids and 2 hrs of sleep in 2 days ! Am I wrong for not going? I feel so guilty!
I am a total mess right now, he looked so scared when they told him  please just keep him in your prayers !

And NO you are NOT wrong for not going. This is your husband...he comes 1st and personally if noone understands that, it's their problem not yours. DO NOT feel guilty.
Call your brother and talk to him yourself, I'm sure he will understand. Do not let you sister put you on a guilt trip.

You are sooooo not wrong! It isn't like you're not going because he has the sniffles for crying out loud. You should be home & he should be comfortable until he's better - end of story. I'm sure your brother will understand when you call to explain it to him

Thank you ladies !! I don't have my brothers # he has changed it so many times ,that is why I tried to call my sister ,but the sis I wanted to talk to was not home ,so I spoke to th monster  she yelled at me b/c none of my family is going b/c my brother just told everyone 1 1/2 months ago that he was getting married ( mind you he is 19) ,so everyone has prior arrangements ! Anyway ,now I have to wait until my sister gets home to get his number and call him !
To the OP they are using blood thinners ..hepinephrin ( umm yeah I have no idea how to spell that lol) I am not sure what else they are going to do ! \

OH no Val I'm so sorry about DH, but thank GOD you caught this (nice work, btw, I know how hard it can be to get some DHs medical attention  )
You are absolutely 100% RIGHT to cancel the trip; you can make it up to the newlyweds at a later date. Your stepsis is a dope, don't even sweat it. Take care of DH and your babies. And yourself.

If they have him on heparin they probably have to monitor him for a while anyway, so you are definitely right to skip the wedding and stay with him! I hope everything turns out ok!
