Update to feeling awful**updated again 3/1**
Well when I wrote the other day I had a terrible headache and swirling lines in my vision. You all told me to call the doctor. I did. My doctor wasn't in but I saw another doctor in the practice who is actually high risk. My blood pressure was high so he sent me to north shore manhasset and I was admitted. I'm still in here and baby is doing well. Turns out it looks like I have preeclampsia since I had a ton of protein in my urine. I was put on a blood pressure medicine to control the pressure. I'm still being monitored and so is the baby. They gave me steroids in case they have to deliver him early. Looks like I will not b going full term but they are trying to keep him cooking as long as possible. He's still only 2 pounds 15 oz so we definitely want him to fatten up but his heartbeat is good. Waiting to here when I may get released and what to expect in the coming weeks. I'll keep u posted. Thanks everyone.
**my doctor just came in. I am stuck in the hospital until I deliver. They are trying to get me to at least 34 weeks if not longer. I'm a little upset because nothing is ready. I never had my shower. My house is still under construction. It's just very overwhelming right now. Thanks for all ur prayers and good wishes!

glad you got right in with your doctor, that sounds pretty serious! Take it easy and hope you make it as far along as possible!!

I know you are upset about being stuck in the hospital don't worry about anything else ~ your health is #1 priority!!!! Rest up ~ How far along are you right now?

I am so sorry this happening. If you can, just try and stay focused on your LO and let the other stuff go. I know its def not ideal, but I am sure all you care about is a healthy baby anyway..

I'm sorry they are keeping you at the hospital but it's all for a good reason--your health and the health of the baby!!!! take care of yourself and try not to stress about the house.
Plus, think how fun it will be to have your shower after the baby is here and get to bring him!

Many and for you! The good thing is you are in the hospital where they can keep a close eye on you and your baby.
I delivered my first at 32 weeks (the day of my shower no less) and we had NOTHING ready not to mention our place was undergoing construction as well. All of it will work itself out in the end, trust me. Don't stress about that. Take care of yourself and your LO!

Thank god you called the dr when you did... as overwhelming as it may all seem right now, all you need to worry about is the health of you and your baby. Everything else will get taken care of and fall into place.
