UPDATE: Toddlers Needed! THANK YOU!!!
As most of you probably know, my SIL/BIL are huge advocates of car safety for children (having lost their toddler son in a back-up accident).
In an effort to raise awareness, The Today Show is taping a segment on the blind spot & car safety. They need 25-30 young kids to stand behind an SUV to demonstrate just how many children can be lost/hidden in the blind spot.
Its filming tomorrow (Thursday) at 3:30, at my SILs house in Dix Hills.
If you'd like to help out, please let me know and I can give you directions. If you can think of anyone else that might be able to attend, please pass this along.

YES - Emily and Andrew (and Lauren) would be great! I'll be there with Ella, though I'm not sure she'll stay put for the filming.

that'd be great! I don't know how much of a zoo it will be, but I definitely got the impression that they need kids.

We have a playgroup in the morning, I can also mention it there, as well as meail a few mommy friends, if that's ok with you (giving out the address).

God bless sweet baby boy Alec  that story touched my heart so much because he was almost the same exact age as John anthony.
I admire your SIL and BIL for still doing so much for this very important cause.
Theyre amazing people.

wow, its crazy (and heartbreaking) to think Alec would have been the same age as JA is now. I can't believe its been 3 years.

We had fun! And it turned out to be such a beautiful day, so we enjoyed our time outdoors, finally!
The best was when we were leaving and Andrew said to me "but I didn't get to play yet."

I'm glad you got a good turn out - and such cute faces at that. Like Anna, I often think of how Alec would have been the same age as Luke. Breaks my heart still as I know it does yours.

Anything we could do to help. Sorry that Olivia was not cooperative. it is not like her to cry and scream. she is having an off day. I think for them to stay still for 5 minutes was alot for young kids. It was great to meet all the moms and their beautiful children.

 RATS! I wish I had known about this, but I so rarely even read this board. I could have definitely been there with Paul and Elena, too.

Corinne- Olivia was very good for a long time! I give her credit 
Luckily my boys were ok (well, the mention of skittles kept them on their toes )
and BOY did they want their reward as soon as it was over... 
I was ready to give out one each (to the whole crowd) if it was necessary (of course with mommy permissions).
