***UPDATE*** We told them!
I decided I just cant wait any longer. We are having a BBQ for my Dad for his bday/Memorial Day/my sister's graduation.
I told my mom on Mother's Day that I ordered her something and it didn't come yet. She loves Whinny the Pooh so I got a little cap and bootie set, photo album and wipes holder and inside the card I wrote:
"We are very sorry your Mother's Day gift is late---and unfortunately you can't use it until January, but we hope you like it anyway!"
Then in my Dad's card I wrote:
"Wow---Next year you'll be 50 AND a Grandpa--You're really getting OLD!!!"
(And yes--- my parents are very young)
They are going to FREAK! My parents have no idea we were TTC OR that we had IF problems and did IVF so it will come as quite a shock to them for sure. I'm actually a little nervous!!!
****UPDATE****
Yesterday went really well!!!! My mom, of course, FREAKED and cried and screamed. My dad was really happy but then was shaking his head thinking about how he will need to deal with my mother for the next 8 months hahaha. She was immediately yelling at him to clean out the spare room so she can have a nursery in there. She took the IVF stuff really well too but she did say she felt bad that she wasn't there for me through it all. It was a lot of fun and they are very excited to here about my dr's appointment on Wednesday!!!!

ETS: I made my parents young grandparents too (mom 47, Dad 50 and stepfather 38!)

How exciting! Post an update...when I gave my father a "grandpa" card and picture frame he said "what's with you and the dog"  I said it was not from the dog but his "real" grandchild....GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im just under 7 weeks. I wanted to wait to see the heartbeat, but I had to tell my sister(long story) so I dont want them to find out by accident.

Enjoy the moment. We told my parents on Friday night and we are telling my DHs family tonight. A memory everyone will remember!!! Let us know how it went?!?!?
