I'm glad to hear it went well. My mom was the same way with the crying and excitment. She actually has had sympathy pregnancy symptoms

Oh thats awesome news Jenn. One of the best moments of my entire LIFE was when I told my parents I was pregnant. It's something I will never forget. Congrats on your pregnancy- I wish you guys the best.

Yesterday went really well!!!! My mom, of course, FREAKED and cried and screamed. My dad was really happy but then was shaking his head thinking about how he will need to deal with my mother for the next 8 months hahaha. She was immediately yelling at him to clean out the spare room so she can have a nursery in there. She took the IVF stuff really well too but she did say she felt bad that she wasn't there for me through it all. It was a lot of fun and they are very excited to here about my dr's appointment on Wednesday!!!!
So glad that it went over so well!! Congrats!

That's great!!! I kinda wish my parents had reacted like that--they were both surprisingly relaxed about the whole thing.
I think my Mom's reaction was: "You are? Don't you think you're a little young?" (P.S. I was 27 at the time) 
Even now, she doesn't seem very excited about it. I'm just starting to get a tummy, and she's visiting us in NC right now, but it's almost like she's uncomfortable talking about the baby. It's very weird--especially because it's our first.

That's wonderful! Enjoy every minute! Our parents took the IF/IUI info. very well too b/c they knew just how deeply this child is wanted and what we were willing to do to have one!

I am so glad at their reaction. Like I told you, parents always worry about their kids no matter how old they are. I know my mom did when I was going through my own IF issues and one of the last things she said to me was how happy she was that things worked out for us this time.
Allow your parents to enjoy this incredible time and let them spoil you and your DH with gifts and experiences for the baby. It will mean the world to them and will give them more joy that you can imagine.
My ILs have already started to buy things here and there and they are giddy. Your parents will be too!!!
