thank you girls. I do have this issue that I am not able to really be insistent, demanding. I am trying to be polite, but the more i am getting into this, the more i realize that i have to fight for myself till the end. And not care if dr flips out that i am calling his cell, or such.
I am taking a day at a time. I will go tomorrow morning and see what they say. Then, i will consider finding another dr. I appreciate your support

sooo glad you pushed and got an appt to get checked out sooner.
i'm not a fan of your dr!! sorry but those remarks are just off. he should be more concerned.. even if you are only 17 weeks!! that's ridiculous!!
if you need a dr reference I'll gladly recommend my dr. love him. he is Dr B's friend. His name is Dr Goldstein and he's on Northern Blvd in Great Neck. Dr B recommended him to me.

This is no time for "polite"! Keep that in mind when you're fighting for action and answers! If you tick him off, there are always other doctors. And from what it sounds like... BETTER doctors!!

just talked to the dr. he wants me to take tylenol first and see if it helps. I must be losing it, but the issue is not the pain at this point, i want to make sure baby is ok. So his approach is to relax and he told me that we should not open the can of worms. Even stitches are not proven to help. Anyhow i told him that i have high levels of anxiety and need to know. So he said that they do it at the hospital better than at his office, so i am going tomorrow morning to radiology unit. thank you all for advice. I feel like i am losing it.
I did not go thru fertility treatments, m/c, tears and heartbrake to sit back and do nothing.
I hope this doesn't come off wrong but your doctor sounds like an A$$.
I can't imagine my OB saying that I should take a Tylenol and relax and "not open a can of worms". What the heck does that mean? If something is happening IT IS HAPPENING and checking on it ASAP is NOT opening a can of worms!!!
Honestly, I would call another OB for a second opinion!

So happy to hear that everything is ok with your cervix and baby. Try and take it easy and hydrate hydrate hydrate. It's so important!

 i think i always referred to this baby as "him", even before IUIs BUT i did see a penis, so we are 90% sure it is a boy I would be over the moon if it is confirmed at 20 w u/s i am dreaming of a little boy.
