UPDATE!!!4/19 She is coming home tomorrow!!!
We have the opportunity to adopt a English Springer Spaniel. I am so excited!!!!!!! We are going to surprise Damien
Here are two pics her owner sent me. We got her. I just have to figure out when we can pick her up
UPDATE:
We are picking her up tomorrow!!!! I am so freaking excited

Is it mean to change her name? Her name is Angel, which is cute but I don't love. The woman who is giving her to us said we could but she is 5 years old so I feel kinda bad.

That's great news!!
As for the name change, I'm not sure. The dog has had the name Angel for 5 years, my head tells me it may confuse her to be called something different.
ETA: We have friends who adopted a dog named Baby. They didn't like the name but the dog had already had it for a couple of years and unfortunately only responded to that name, so they were stuck with it even though they didn't like it.

We had one too! I have always wanted one. This opportunity just fell into our laps and I just can't pass it up. My DH at first was on the fence because he wanted a puppy, but I don't have the time to devote to a puppy right now, so this is perfect

awww i love them! i had one for 15 years... they are the best sweetiest dogs out there! good luck. as for the name change she is 5 so maybe if you find a name that sounds like angel then it might work . otherwise i would not change it.

You can change the name, but it can take a while, and it does not always work. And with all of the changes the dog is going to face in the coming weeks it might be tough for her.
