UPDATED Due today menstural like cramps radiating into my back
for about an hour....any suggestions? Only felt one contraction but am uncomfortable...

that could be back labor... I'd keep track of the time and if they don't go away, give your doctor a call.

time the cramping in the back as if it were a contraction....my contractions started as a low feeling in my belly like I had to go to the bathroom.
Hopefully this is it

Contractions started! been timing them since 945 they are a minute long each and about 5 mintues apart...thinking of waking up DH and calling the doc in 10 min...Could this be it?? Baby is active in between contractions...The contractions tighten around my belly and then feel like someone is pulling my tailbone and twisting....

that's definitely labor! just call the OB and find out when they want you to go in.... they'll take the 25 min trip time into account when they speak with you....
congratulations and don't forget to eat and drink before you leave... once in the hospital, they don't let you consume anything

I am still here. Talked to a nurse friend and she said that I should wait till the contractions get stronger otherwise can be false labor....

ughhhhhhhh back labor...
thats how mione started with my first and didnt stop,
if it gets where it really bothers you-strip-get in the shower and whenever you have a back contraction hit it with a massager,
the baby can still spin

I am stil here. I ended up going to bed last night I woke up 2 times with contractions but nothing consistent. Still having menstrual like cramps. Going to the doctor later today. I don't know what he is going to say but am worried because I am only taking 6 weeks off with the baby and this week counts as one of them. Hope she comes today or doctor discusses induction. Wish me luck ladies.
