Updated below - Critique my brunch menu, pls
I'm excited to have DH's family over for a pre-mother's day brunch. Most of them haven't seen our house yet, so we are kind of killing two birds. There will likely be 10-12 adults and 3 kids and 1 baby. What do you most like to have at brunch? When we go out, I like a good mix of breakfast and lunch items, so I"m trying to accomplish that, but my menu feels all over the place. Any suggestions? What else do I need? TIA!
Beverages: Cucumber water / regular water tea / coffee Wine / beer / limoncello spritzers Bellinis / Mimosas
Fresh Fruit salad OR melon wrapped in prosciutto Baked brie with apples, water crackers Onion, mushroom, and goat cheese mini fritattas (in a muffin pan) baked bacon Ina's herb rubbed turkey breast Brussel sprout / pomegranat salad Chive-cheddar biscuits
ETA: maybe a blueberry baked oatmeal?

This all sounds amazing!
I would go with the melon wrapped in prosciutto and I would do the blueberry baked oatmeal.

I think you've got too many booze options between the wine/beer/spritzer s/bellinis and mimosas. I'd pare it down to beer/wine/mimosas/bloody Mary's. Fruit salad instead of melon and prosciutto. I think the oatmeal might be overkill.

Looks great! I would just add something that's kid-friendly...even if you just do some waffles or pancakes, or find out what cereals they like. Unless these kids do eat more "adult" foods, then you're good to go!

I would add a breakfast-y carb--waffles, pancakes, french toast casserole. Maybe some mini-bagels with butter/creamcheese?

Re: Critique my brunch menu, pls
Thanks everyone! I was feeling the need for a breakfast carb too. How do I do a pancake or waffle without them getting soggy?
Maybe a bread pudding?

Too many booze options are never a problem. I see what you are saying though.

Re: Critique my brunch menu, pls
For a carb - you could always do a coffee cake or a basket of assorted muffins (do a couple of different kinds).
I think the advantage of that would be that you could make the cake or muffins in advance so it's one less thing to worry about making that day and they are served room temp (so no worries about oven space).
Another "special occasion" make ahead brunch item that people have raved about when I've made it is Ina Garten's baked blintzes. It's an easy way to make blintzes - make it layered in a 9 by 13 inch pan with a blueberry sauce... it is so rich and delicious!
ETA - your menu looks great!

my vote goes for the fruit salad, mostly because i think you need some more kid friendly options as well. everything you have sounds great though.

Sounds awesome! Here's a recipe for baked French toast that I made recently . Baked French toast
I soaked that morning not overnight and used Arnold brick oven white bread. Served with real maple syrup. Everyone loved it. Also good left over.

I would add a baked french toast too...it's easy and people love it!
I like to use Pepperidge Farm cinnamon bread for it and find that people really don't even use syrup!

I agree on the baked French toast. I always serve it at my brunches. As for more lunch foods, I also do a grilled pork tenderloin in Lawrys Steak and Chop marinade. It's always a hit.
