And did they give ANY clue who this guy is and where he practiced from?
Many people have to worry b/c of this and hope they get the letter in case it was them.
How disgraceful for this person to be allowed to practice as if a huge crime was not committed?

Do you know how much money an anesthesiologist makes?????? they are one of the top paid physicians.....and your telling me he was so cheap he wouldn't buy new needles....and he's still practicing??? I'm appalled!! at the very least he violated the hypocratic oath they all take.......

I am more so under the impression this is someone who works at a pain clinic, not necessarily an anesthesiologist in an OR let's say.
Either way, this is horrific regardless of HOW much the person makes.

They're top-paid b/c they have among the highest insurance premiums (with OBs) and the highest risk of harming or killing a patient.
That's WITHOUT being a dumbass who resuses needles.

I cannot understand that the Board let him practice and remain anonymous.
I thought patients safety and well being were (well, should!!!) the directive of the Board. Not protecting probably a golf buddy!!!!

This makes me so mad!! That is insane. My sister had a nose job last year at a clinic in Nassau. I would like to make sure it wasn't her anesthesiologist. The dr.'s name should definitely be made public. And he should not only be fired, but brought up on criminal charges!

Im sure his name will come out soon enough by word of mouth but why in the world is he allowed to still practice? Why reuse needles anyway? I don't understand that part - are they that expensive or is there something sinister involved?

I think this is HORRIBLE, but what's worse is that it seems like this could happen at ANY Dr.'s office. If the Dept of Health knew about this and is continuing to let him practice even though he endangered all those lives, couldn't this be happening at our doctor's offices too and we don't know about it???
