Updated with another question--- So could the Zantac and Nutramigen work this fast???
I last fed Luke at 11pm last night, he woke at 5:30am to eat, 7am for his paci and 9:30am to eat again.  He was so content, the first time I have seen him like this since he was a couple of weeks old. Does this stuff work that fast?????
One more Question-
Did any Nutramigen moms notice a lot of mucus in the stool right after switching to the formula? Luke has a TON of mucus in his stool today. I don't know if its just cleaning him out or if there is something wrong??? I call the ped. and he said to just keep an eye on him.

Yea.. I noticed a big difference in Sadie within a day, but it took like a week or two to be consistent.

I noticed a difference within 1 day. I believe the mucous could just be the dairy working its way out.

Thanks! I hope that is what is causing the mucus too! He had only some traces but now its huge clumps so I thought maybe the Nutramigen was bringing it out too!!!
I cant believe how different Luke is today, its SO nice.

We noticed a difference right away - overnight, in fact, and she's been this way ever since. I also noticed a little mucous in the stools the first few days but it went away quickly.

Can I ask a ??
I read that a lot of people mix it with similac due to the taste. Has anyones DC had a problem taking the bottle due to the taste of the formula?

The formula's are the same, just different brands really. 
And YES i totally noticed a difference in jacen that quickly. he keeps it up for you.

When I had to switch to Nutramigen we had a problem with the taste. Our DD was BF and flat out refused. We had to slowly wean her, by mixing BF and formula. Now she is fine with the Nutramigen.
ETA: Using warm water to mix helped too. Since she was EBF for the first few months she was used to warm liquids. We warmed it in the beginning and now just use room temp or luke warm water.

DD's on Alimentum but it worked quickly too - big difference overnight and more improvement over the next two days. Her poop did not normalize for a couple of weeks though - the ped said it could take up to 2 weeks to get the dairy fully out of her system and her intestines healed. Hope your DC continues to do well.
