UPDATED with what my doc said anyone know if any allergy meds (OTC) are safe?
i've never had allergies before but i'm pretty sure i do now. i have pressure in my head and sinuses, a cough and sneezing like crazy. it's been 2 weeks of this and i can't take it anymore.
anyone know if any allergy meds are safe during pregnancy (like how robitussin and tylenol) are?
obviously i will call my obgyn tomorrow, but i'm not calling the emergency line for this. i just need some relief i've never had to ask him about allergy meds because i've never had allergies before.
update: my doc okayed claritin and claritin D but not benadryl. i can't wait to buy it after work!

call the emergency line - it's a VALID question.
every doc has a different protocol - some okay zyrtec - some say NO WAY...

it really isn't an emergency though. i know every doc is different, but some meds are okay by almost all docs (like tylenol and robitussin)

First off, I do know they are OK to use like Claritin & Lornadine...I have them on my list.
Secondly, when did you say you were expecting #2?????

Mt Dr said Benadryl was ok at 25 mg in 24 hours.
