Update:spotting at 61/2 weeks...waiting for doctor to call

So i'm about 61/2 weeks today and for the first time i had some brown spotting. TMI , but only when I wiped, not on my underwear. I'm freaking out a bit. I've had mild cramps the entire time. I'm waiting for my doctor to call me back.. anyone have something similar happen?

UPDATE: The doctor and said it's probably nothing, but that I should come in on Monday and have more blood taken and they'll check my levels. He said as long as it doesn't become red or heavy, just take it easy over the weekend... keep your fingers crossed for meChat Icon

Chat Icon it's common to have some spotting and cramping the 1st trimester. If it keeps up, you may want to see if your doctor can check your progesterone levels

I had it with my 1st pg also, around 6-7 weeks. It ended up being fine!

Yup, I had some brown spotting around then too. I was told it was most likely old implantation blood that my body was cleansing itself of.

I'm sure it's fine......so many people have this happen and it turns out to be nothing at all.
