Uppababy vs City Mini
Right now I have the City Mini but I am thinking of returning it and getting the Uppa baby Cruz. It seems to be lightweight as well and I don't really see myself doing street jogging (I normally go to the track without the baby).
If you have the Uppababy do you recommend?

I have the City Mini, it's pretty great, so easy to fold.
FYI - it is not a jogging stroller.

Re: Uppababy vs City Mini
I just looked up the Cruz. It looks really nice and the basket is huge and so easily accessible. Folding seems similar to the city mini.
However, it costs double what the city mini costs, and it doesn't have the option to become a double later on. I would rather spend the same amount of money and get a City Select which at least later could become a double and also has a big basket, easy fold, different configurations etc.
But if it's a choice between the city mini and the Cruz, hands down the city mini. I have it and it's really the only stroller we needed for my 2 year old DS. The city mini is NOT made for jogging, baby jogger is just the brand name. It's a very smooth ride, huge canopy, full recline, comfy for baby, etc etc etc.

I have the uppavista and love it. I think the seat is the most comfortable for kids because it sits straight up and has the adjustable foot rest

thanks! I am going to check out the city select now, I didn't know turning into a double was an option.
This is my first kid so I assumed Baby jogger meant it was made for jogging Let's blame it on Preggo/Mommy brains lol.

No problem! There are SOOOO many stroller options out there that it's hard for a mom to be to figure it all out!
For what it's worth, I LOVE my city mini, but I am now getting a City Select because baby #2 is coming soon and my DS just turned 2 years old so I really need a double. We're keeping the city mini since it's really great though and a good option in case we need to go out with just one baby for an appointment or whatever (since it's lighter).

Me too! Not sure about the Cruz, but the Vista converts to a double, which we use since we do a nanny share with my nephew. The second seat works great for us.
The basket is great, and the seat and footrest adjust.
The thing I hate about the City mini is that footrest doesnt adjust - that looks so uncomfortable to me.

Re: Uppababy vs City Mini
I just returnd the 2011 citi mini (still in the box) and got the citi mini GT. Its a cross between the citi mini and the select. Still folds easily, better padding on the seat, adjustable handlebar, a few more pounds than the mini but the wheels are better, so the ride is much smoother. We take a lot of walk so I though that was important. FYI: the baskets on the GT and 2012 citi mini is more accesible than the 2011

Push the 2 buttons on the side where the footrest meets the seat, it goes up and down.
