Upsetting 1 Month Well-Visit. Please Send Prayers! **UPDATED**
Reilly had her 1 month well-visit today. Everything seemed to be going well: weight was up, nasty diaper rash is gone, she's taking to the formula switch well, etc. Then the pediatrician seems puzzled by her head circumference measurements. He was pouring over her discharge paperwork from the NICU, making sure the conversions were correct... Then he double checked the measurements that were taken today by his nurse.
Apparently, Reilly's head is growing at a greater rate than is normal for her age.  She has gone up more than 2 percentage points since her first head circum. measurement at birth. The doctor advised that she needs to get a head sonogram to R/O Hydrocephaly.  The ped gave me a prescription and advised us that she will have to have the test done at Good Sam. We have an appt on Wed. at 11am. I am scared out of my mind that something is wrong with my little baby girl. It is taking all of my strength to hold it together and just wait it out until Wed. to get results.
If any other Mommies have any other experience with this I would really appreciate your feedback. Between Reilly's stay in the NICU for 8 days when she was born and now this, I don't know if I can handle it without going crazy. If you don't have any feedback for me, please pray for my sweet baby girl that she is 100% ok. 
UPDATE:
Thank you all so much for your prayers, positive vibes and best wishes! Reilly's head sono came back normal!!  Apparently, she has a big ol' brain just like her Momma!! You guys are awesome and really helped to calm my fears!!

Do you think they took the correct measurements when they discharged her from the NICU?
Lots and lots of to you. Its best to get it checked out just so you are 100% happy.

My gut instinct is that they were a bit sloppy measuring the head in the hospital... I pray that's the reason for all of this 
that sounds so stressful

Seamus' head grew alot at his 2 month and they never said anything to me!!
The nurse measured it twice because she thought it was wrong. He was a peanut when we left the hospital - 6 lbs 5 ounces and was 13 lbs at the 2 month appointment. I guess it kept up with the rest of him? I tell him he has an Irish potato head all the time!! for your little girl. Im sure everything will work out just fine!!

Sending you lots of . I agree with the pp who said it was probably sloppy measuring by the hospital. DS's height was crossed out and changed on his original stats form after the two measurements were different (the one on the initial form and the one done in the nursery). They were off by an inch! First he was 20 inches and then 21, lol im sure its something similar!

I'm new here but I wanted to also offer some cause I know how you feel. I went through the same thing with my son who is 11 months and perfectly fine. He had to have a sonogram by 2 months cause the doctor thought he might have liquid in his brain due to how fast his head was growing. It turned out he has a big head. I was also a mess. Good luck

I'm not sure if the measurements were correct; there was a measurement taken at my ped's office a few days after Reilly's discharge, then today at her 1 month visit. These 3 measurements are basis for sending her to get the sono. I'm so scared.
