dinner still isn't ready, but i'm happy to report that i have not burned the house down. i'm pretty proud of myself

Those things are SCARY!!!!

DH always uses ours for us. I love how quickly things cook in it though! It's fabulous for making indian food at home.

I love my pressure cooker! The ones that work on the stove top scare me (I used to keep out of the kitchen whenever my mom was using one- fear of blowing up the kitchen) so I have the electric one by Cuisinart.

What are you making in your pressure cooker?

i have a stove top pressure cooker. i was very afraid of it... i called my mom for directions.

i also made sure to tell DS to NOT TOUCH it!!!!

let me tell you, it's not as scary as i thought. i just will always make sure that there is ABSOLUTELY no pressure left... no guessing!!

i made cuban black beans!!!

i can not believe that there was NOTHING ready for dinner and i went from dry beans to dinner in less than two hours!!!!

the familia loved the beans! DS had seconds... and the boy eats like a horse, already!!

i'm definitely using that bad boy for all my bean dishes from now on!!! woo hoo!
