Vacation spot like Lake George??
We go to Lake George every year, it's my happy place! Would love to find something similar to Lake George. Looking for a place that is within driving distance (5-6 hours max), lake (no ocean), lots of things to do with our kids (mini golf, boating, amusement parks etc) ability to walk to shops and restaurants. Does this place exist? TIA!

Vacation spot like Lake George??
We rented a house in Canandaigua, NY a few years ago. Definitely not as much to do as Lake George, but it was a really nice area and only about a half hour from Rochester.
