Mohonk Mountain House? It includes all meals, which is wonderful! Great for family reunions!

Poconos? Great Wolfe Lodge is there. Cute shops and restaurants right off the Lodge by a few miles.

Re: Besides Lake George...any suggestions in the Northeast for a family vacation?
We did a family vacation (13 of us and many kids) to Maine. We rented a house for all of us that had 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. We visited Kennebunkport, a few light houses, bar harbor, etc. It was a great trip!
Mystic Ct is always recommended by friends/family but I wasn't a fan... there wasn't really a lot to do.

Woodloch is Pennsylvania.
This will be the best vacatoin you ever go on! It is amazing! It is perfect for large groups. We just went this past June and will go back every other year. So amazing.
Its a large resort on a lake. They have an indoor pool , an outdoor pool and a lake with a huge slide. They also have kiddie pools with things the kids can climb on and tunnels and such. Everyday they do family activities such as Family Fued, Double Dare, Olympics (it changes dependng on what day it is) They have a different live show every night in the theatre. They do arts and crafts for the kids everyday. Bum,per cars for kids and adults. There is so much more I am forgetting.
The service is UNBELIEVABLE! For ex: Every nigth at dinner they have a character there for the kids. I asked them if Abby Cadabby was going to be there during our stay. It turned out they had just had her the day before we got there. But , they arranged for her to be there for my DD the next day. It was so nice and I was so touched. Katie was sooooooo excited.
Please check it out
I just created an album - take a look I can't even describe the amount of fun we had. I hope this picture gives you an idea!

OMG!!! I haven't thought about Woodloch Pines in so long.
My entire extended family (40+ people) went there at least 15 years ago for a family reunion and everyone agrees it was the best reunion we've ever had. They did all the same things back then. We were so exhausted at the end of the day from all of the activities.
I really have such great memories from that place. It's probably not for everyone, but for a big group its great and I always wished my family would have planned another trip there.

Re: Besides Lake George...any suggestions in the Northeast for a family vacation?
althought I have never been to woodloch I know a few people who have, I have been to the area as we have a seasonal spot in the anear by campground. There is so much to do on their grounds and in the towns itself. I must suggest brunch at an amazing place. Torte Knox in hawley, pa It was a very special dining experience and the food was out of this world.
i love love love it'
