Vaccine for your older kids?
Vaccine appointments are available to those 16 and over. If you have kids that age, will you have them vaccinated?
I have two older ones...one will need to be vaccinated for college. My 16 year old...not sure yet

Re: Vaccine for your older kids?
My oldest had his first shot already. His 2nd one is scheduled for next week. My younger DD is under 16, but when they open it up for the next age range, she'll get her shot, too.

Vaccine for your older kids?
My district just had a vaccine clinic and all spots were taken. 150 students were vaccinated so I think many are vaccinating their teenagers.

Anyone I know with teenagers has gotten them vaccinated or has the appointment scheduled. If my child were eligible, I would allow him or her do their own research and make the decision for themselves. I would never force them to get it, but I would also not discourage them.

Re: Vaccine for your older kids?
My nephew is 19, he had his 2 dosis. DS is turning 16 in October and we think we will do it. I'm kind of glad we have some months too think about it... unless it is approved for 12 and up. We asked DS and he said he would be up for it.
