vaccine side effect
now i know that vaccines cause sleepiness, but does it happen within a few hours? DS got 2 shots today at 2pm and he been sleeping since 5pm....which is not like him. I assume it's the shots, but I really didn't think that it could happen so quick! He's 3 months old.

From my experience, yes it happens quickly...
Most new events or outside stimulus, exhausts them.

Re: vaccine side effect
My 2 month old got her shots this week and as soon as we got home from the doctor she conked out for 3 hours. Then when she woke up she was inconsolably screaming for awhile. Then she wouldn't eat. All this was surprising because my son never had these reactions. We gave her Tylenol and the next day she was fine.
