Vent About Rude People...
I was leaving Bagel Boss today, and a woman came up to me and said "What an adorable little girl...Is she YOURS???"
"Yes"
Then she had the ballz to say "Oh, she CERTAINLY doesn't look like you!"   
Yes, she said it just like that!!!!!
No joke, this must have been the TENTH time someone assumed I was Alex's nanny. Can a mother not be with/care for her child anymore??? Can a child take on different physical traits than the mother????
Not for nothing, but what if my daughter was adopted and this biotchy woman said that?
Grrrrr, just needed to get that off my chest.

I am sorry THat's rude and awful.
My daughter is my DH's mini me, people tell me that too, she doesn't look anything like you.
I say to them
"ya, i know, we are waiting on the results of the maternity test"
DUH! It's possible for kids not to look like one of the parents that gave them life!!

Oh and ANOTHER rude thing...
Little old ladies tend to prey on me ...
They see me on line at the supermarket, start chatting about my kid, etc...After about 5 minutes that sweet old lady turns into an evil little wench who asks
"oh dear, would you mind letting me go in front of you today???"
W..T..F??????????????
It happened today at Macy's, I of course stood my ground and said Nope .
(You know, b/c I have to rush home to sit on the couch & eat bon bons).

How incredibly Rude and Stupid of her!
My favorite is when they ask me if DS is a boy. Yes I understand he's got some girly features in his face but common they ask this when he is wearing baby blue colored clothes. I do dress him in boys clothes...

AND, Good for you though for standing your ground about the line thing. I can't believe you've been asked if they can cut in front of you!!! I love the ladies who act like they don't see you in line and kind of cut you off.

DH and I were sitting in the Dr's office with the baby. Some woman walks out into the waiting room and says "what a beautiful baby. Is she YOURS?" And DH says "Nope. We took her."
the look on her face was priceless. People can be so stupid.
