Vermont Judge

My mom was telling me about that Vermont Judge that gave a man, who raped a 4 year girl for years (not only him but he invited his friends over to dothe same), a 60 DAY JAIL SENTENCE


he SAME jail sentence that another judge gave a for talking back to her during court preceedings...

contempt of court....60 days
raping 4 year old....60 days

after going through 4 years of abuse, that trial..
to have the guy out in 2 months

I've been following this story on O'Reilly, and it is really amazing how the people in Vermont are defending this judge. It makes me sick.

Oh yeah, almost all the papers in VT are publishing editorials defending him. The governor won't comment, and his boss is defending the decision.

I'm not defending him so don't think that ... didn't this judge want to put him into a mental hospital or into a program to get help? I thought I read that somewhere. Personally I think he should be put away FOREVER like the ALL child molestors

i agree with you about putting them away forever, but IMO - no mental hospital or treatment program is going to change these monsters - once a pedophile, always a pedophile!!

The prison system was not going to provide rehab for him, that's why the judge gave the light sentence. He thought the guy needed rehab more than the children in VT need to be protected. However, the prison system has said now that they will provide rehab, and they have asked the judge to change his sentence and he refuses.

I was outraged when I heard about this a couple of weeks ago!!!!! But, I thought I heard the community was outraged too!

Poor little girl! The system certainly failed her!! There is no rehab for sexual offenders!!!!!

And That Judge just looks too weird!

Sometimes I wonder about our judicial system...a child molester needs to be put away forever. They are numersous times offenders and it's not something that happens just once!
