Re: vertigo?
My husband had veritgo about a year ago and it lasted a few weeks. We ended up in the ER because he thought he was having a brain anurism (sp?) or something.
They did a CAT scan and everything came back negative.
He went to his regular DR the next day for a check up and they recreated the vertigo and they determined that's what it was.
He was miserable - couldn't drive, couldn't see straight -
How bad is it?

Re: vertigo?
If you have an ear infection, then that is what it's related to.

i called out sick to work today.
we went to dinner last night and as soon as we sat in the restaurant - the whole place began spinning. it reminded me of when your drunk right before you would get sick. it eventually subsided - but than kept coming back again and again. finally it began to upset my stomach because i couldnt stop spinning.
i have pretty much just layed around in bed today. i am up now - and not spinning- but my ear is aching??

Re: vertigo?
Years ago, I had severe vertigo. Had to lie on my back, because as soon as my head was above the ground, I felt nauseated. At some point it subsided enough so my DW could drive me to the doctor. Luckily, it was just a really bad ear infection.
