I think about it everyday.
Seeing the pics in the newspaper were just too much for me. My eyes just watered thinking about that family and the person driving that car that hit the little girl...
devestating that these things happen

Almost every night as I lay in bed, this is the fear that grips me - from the smallest things to the most horrific things I can imagine. Most nights I will watch TV till I can't keep my eyes open bc I worry so much in the late night hours. When my DS #1 was just an infant I had a dream that he would be killed by a car when he was 6. Now he is 2 months away from turning 6 and I can't help but worry that it was some message.
How am I going to get through the year till he turns 7? My DH thinks I am crazy but I know other Moms might understand.....

I shudder when I recall that flower girl story. It is so true that I would DIE if something happened to DS and unfortunately I wont be able to protect him every second of his life.
Treasure every moment since you never know what is around the bend

I cannot even imagine. In addition to the sadness I feel when I think of these news stories, I often think of parents who had even less time with their children than I have already had with Dylan. I look at him and sometimes I feel like I cannot grasp the fact that some parents have lost children who were younger than he is now. As his first birthday approaches, I keep praying that all the babies who were in the NICU with him are alive and healthy now.

I think about this all of the time. Everytime I hear a story like that I always think about it could have been Rylan or a nephew. Everyone always thinks it won't happen to them...but it's happening to someone who probably thought the same...

Liza that is soo very sad I just read it. I cant even imagine . I try and keep my DD as safe as I can always . We all know that we all do our best to keep our babies safe
