I think that is unfair to say that this case gives co-sleeping a "bad rap"....it just goes to show that co-sleeping is not ALWAYS safe and people need to understand the dangers

I think it just reminds us to be extremely cautious if we make the decision to co-sleep. I have co-slept myself and things like this keeps me on my toes - which isn't a bad thing.

I agree. I dont think that this case, as sad and devastating as it is, should keep people from co-sleeping if they choose to do so. I think this just reminds us that we need to have rules and standards when doing so. I understand what sometimesmommy was trying to say. That poor mother, I can't even begin to imagine how she must feel. Poor poor woman.

Ladies,
Whatever your thoughts on co-sleeping are - I am perfectly sure this mother is going to spend the rest of her life torturing herself over the death of her precious child.
I had no control over the death of my son, and not a single day goes by where I don't beat myself up for not doing things differently.
