Very random old school Mcdonald's ?
Does anyone else remember when McDonald's had this crazy long song listing their menu items and every weekend w/ our paper we would receive a record with the song but it always got interrupted. It was a contest and if you got a record where they sang the whole song to the end you won a prize. This probably sounds crazy buit wondering if anyone else remembers this. Oh yea, and I am embarrassed that I still remember the whole song!

2 all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.
I used to love the Big Mac!

LOL! That was one but not the song I'm thinking. This one started out like this:

That was the "Hot Side Hot", Cold Side Cold thing, wasn't it?
The letutce & tomato was in one side of the container & the burger on the other & you just put them together when you were ready to eat so the lettuce didn't get wilty!

McDLT: The McDLT (McDonald's Lettuce and Tomato) was sold in a novel form of packaging.[13] The meat and bottom half of the bun was prepared separately from the lettuce, tomato, American cheese, pickles, sauces, and top half of the bun. Both were then packaged into a specially designed two-sided container. The consumer was then expected to finalize preparation of the sandwich by combining the hot and cool sides just prior to eating. The company discontinued the sandwich in 1990 due to the move away from the environmentally unsound styrofoam packaging which was integral to the McDLT "experience". The McDLT is perhaps best remembered for its marketing, which focused on variations of the theme "Keep the hot side hot, and the cool side cool." A 1985 commercial released to market the new sandwich featured a young Jason Alexander.

I remember those records. My dad wondered why my brothers and I were so interested in the Sunday paper.
Jason Alexander was the guy in McDLT commercial. I saw him on a talk show recently and they played it

I don't know, I only went to McDonald's to get ice cream one when I'd get coupons instead of candy for Halloween.
