Should i invest in a steamer or is there another way?

I used the Beaba.. But, do you have a pot with a steamer thing that slips in? If not there is this metal thing you can buy. It looks like petals on a flower and it sits in your pot. You put water in the bottom and you steam away.. Let me see if I can find it.

What she said. If you don't have one just put a very small amount of water in a small pot and put a lid on. Steam til tender.

I bought the OXO steamer. I think it is better to steam than boil in water because the nutrients leach out.

you don't need any large contraptions... You can just get a steamer basket for like 10 bucks-- you put it whatever pot you have and let it steam. Then I would toss in the food processor.

Now I just do small amounts (cut into chunks per meal), and I put them in a measuring cup with some water, microwave for a min and a half, then drain and rinse with cold water.
