Silly Question: Heating Up Baby Food Meat
How do you heat up baby food meat? It says on the jar not to heat in the microwave, but it seems like a tiny amount to heat up any other way.
Looks gross too! Not so sure he'll keep eating this for long, I may shred our meat.

Re: Silly Question: Heating Up Baby Food Meat
I put the meat in a microwavable bowl and heat it up that way

Re: Silly Question: Heating Up Baby Food Meat
I don't give him the plain meats so much anymore, but I don't bother heating them at all. DS will eat the whole jar at one sitting, so I just give them to him at room temperature, right out of the jar.

Thanks so much! We're trying chicken today-can't wait to see what kind of poop this will lead to later!

Re: Silly Question: Heating Up Baby Food Meat
I did the plain meats in the beginning, to make sure he wasn't allergic to anything, but once I knew he could eat the individual ingredients in the dinners, we switched to those. He likes them better and they don't smell like dog food to me

Re: Silly Question: Heating Up Baby Food Meat
It does look and smell like dog food! I felt bad feeding it to him. Wound up mixing most of it in his squash anyway since he was making some serious yuck faces.
