Village in The Woods in Selden
After calling about a million places, we are still trying to find out of they accept pets  - we have a 40lb. dog and REFUSE to get rid of her! I cant find a general # for anyone, and the real estate that is selling one of the units said they dont think there is a restriction on pets, but they werent sure.
I really like the co-ops there for the price. I was wondering if anyone lived/lives there and your experience with it. And maybe you can answer my pet question too?

my friend lives in that complex so i asked her your question and this was her responce.
"Yes - you can have pets - you have to pay $10 a month for each pet (well cat or dog)
And you have to submit a picture of them when you apply!"

DH used to live in the Fairfield complex on College Rd in Selden and he had a Bull Mastiff...

My sister lives in Village in the Woods!! Pets are allowed...I think there is a charge for them added to your commons fee (she has 2 cats...not sure if she reported them or not though )
ETA that I reread your post....my sister has lived there 2 1/2 years & loves it there! The pool is nice & her neighbors are quiet too!

check out my co op ( on the real estate board) its in coram and we are allowed to have pets, I have a pug. There are no additional fees for pets.
we just reduced the price to 169,990
eta- oh I just re read your post that you already bought- oh well, good luck!!
