V.S. CC Customer Service Vent
I'm so upset right now.
I just spent almost 2 hours being transferred back and forth between V.S. customer service and the V.S. bank card customer service while they tried figuring out what the error was as to why I had a balance on my account that I was not aware of and then had finance charges and late fees due to the balance.
Long story short after almost 2 hours of this, and last rep spoken to at the CC customer service (who was being rude to me while I was trying to tell him what the Supervisor at V.S. told me he was the one talking over me and claiming I was interrupting when I was mid setence regardless. This is how you speak to a customer?????????
AFter it was all said and done he spoke to V.S. they figured out THEIR error of something that had not been credited in the right amount, so I was on 3way with them (the lady, and the rude guy) and he says ok so not that is resolved is there anything else and I said yes I only use this account for online purchases and after this I dont want to make anymore online purchases so please close my V.S. account.
His response-"So after I spent 15minutes talking to V.S. rep of my time helping you you want to close the account?"
I was and say yes I just explained why *(even the lady understood why and said so) this guy continues to say "If I had known you were canceling I wouldnt have contacted them"
Excuse me is this not your job? I'm not one to deal with conflict and I am at work so I weas calm through all this. MY coworkers though were steaming they couldnt believe the run around I just got and when I told them what the man said they were so mad.
They said I need to write a letter to V.S.

I just sent an email and will type up the letter as well and send it as well.

None of the other reps spoke to me that and I spoke to about 8 in total between going back and forth.

They are ridiculous, I had a similar situation with them and I closed the card as well.

How flipping rude!?!?! That is HIS job! How could anyone blame you for closing the account after all that!?
There was a post on fashion a few weeks ago that the quality of merchandise has gone down, sounds like customer service quality, too.
Grrrr.....Hope it all gets resolved!
