Walker question
Is it true that with the walker, exersaucer, jumper, etc. that they should not be flat foot, they should be on their tippy toes? Our walker is on the highest setting and she is still flat foot. We have this one:

Re: Walker question
I am not sure - but I would think that being flat footed in the walker would be a good thing - since that is how they learn how to walk.
But I am not sure if that is the way it is supposed to be

Re: Walker question
I know for a jumper they should be on toes. I'm not sure if that holds true for an exersaucer/walker

Right - that is what I thought too, but my BIL and SIL told me they should be tippy toed in everything because something can happen with the arch of their foot.

Re: Walker question
As long as they are not in any one thing all day long everything that is supposed to happen with their feet and proper growth will happen. My child was flat footed in the walker and she runs around like a lunatic now. No worries.

Re: Walker question
The only thing that I can find in the book states -
Place your child in the walker and check that both feet touch the floor.

Re: Walker question
I could be wrong, but with the Exersaucer, I think you're not supposed to let them be flat footed because then there's the risk of them tipping it over (Jackson would jump like crazy in that thing and rock it back and forth).
