Walking question
How long from when your DC could stand up by themselves did it take for them to get the walking thing? Just curious!

DS has been able to pull himself to a stand for about 2 months. About 2 weeks ago he began to cruise, and yesterday he tried to let go. He can do it, it just freaked him out so he sat down

DS pulled himself up to stand and was walking holding on to furniture and his toys around 8 1/2 mo. He didnt start walking on his own until a few days after he turned 11 mo. Even now a few weeks later...he'll walk but still crawls alot...I guess b/c it is faster and he is much more used to crawling.

DD could stand on her own at 9 months... she didn't walk until she was 15 months... she's lazy

DD has been pulling up since 6-6/12 months. She has been cruising for 1 1/2 months or a little longer. She can stand alone now for a few seconds at a time. She is not walking alone yet - she just turned 9 months - I'm NOT rushing it - she will walk when she is ready too- hopefully not too soon - mommy isn't ready.
