Wanna play a weather game?
Over the next day or two (Thurs and Fri), let's post what the weather is right now.
Then edit your post a few times per day, or whenever the weather changes.
I'll start:
Mid-Suffolk County, NY:
Thurs 8:50AM, pouring rain.
Thurs 5:00pm, building an arc
Thurs 9:30pm, light rain
Thurs 1130pm, freezing rain
(Middle of the night, 4 inches of snow fell)
Friday 7:40am, snow showers

Midtown East: Heavy snow, light wind, Flakes have gotten smaller in the past 15 min or so.

Queens Village, NY (work), 8:56 am: Light Rain
9:49 am: From my window, it looks like a rain and snow mix, turning more to snow.
10:09 am: GIANT snowflakes!
11:20 am: looks like a light rain/snow mix?
1:33 pm: snow again, but if I look out the window again in 2 minutes, it might be rain. It changes every time I glance at it!

8:59am: HUGE snowflakes & very heavy snowfall in Jersey City
11:02am- Still snowing very heavy.
2:30pm- Looks like a Blizzard- Steady heavy snowfall.

9:20 AM-- Upper Manhattan, it's been snowing heavy since I woke up this morning...about 6 am, so I assume it started a bit earlier than that. It's coming down hard and fast.

9:22---North Queens (border of Nassau): am--medium rain, cool not too cold
ETA: It is interesting that it is snowing in NYC...
10:00 am- turned to snow @ 10 minutea go. Big flakes but not sticking yet bc it is very wet on the ground
10:40am0-- HUGE flakes--but not sticking yet
12:35--slush! slippery
