want to see some before/and work in progress pics? - UPDATED WITH AFTER PICS
we have been redoing our kitchen. It will be finished on thursday (minus the painting). I will post pics when it is done too...
Before:
  
the view from my dining room (we knocked down half of that wall)
The eating/living area that is attached to the kitchen

Well - besides painting and furniture - our kitchen and family room is done!!! I am so happy. For anyone considering the work - it is well worth the mess - trust me!!
dining room after (like I said it still needs paint)
  
this is the view into the kitchen from the family room/eating area - on the wall is a magnetic board that I made to match the backsplash in the kitchen
nicer pic of the dining room with our new rug.

I LOVE your home! Where did you find that area rug? that's almost exactly what we've been looking for.... I'm just looking at the picture -- were the cabinets white and you refinished them? Your backsplash is awesome
