I don't know, man...I don't think any of us have the power to predict the future. Right now, I think our government is doing a pretty decent job of foiling attacks and there's not much else we can do. Yes, if you believe it, you can pray for safety and peace, but don't buy anyone's scare tactics. It's sensationalism.

I'm going with O&A. G-d - at least the one I pay attention to - has better taste in messengers than Pat Robertson.
But to answer your question, there are people that truly believe in televangelists. Let's hope none of them try to deliver the message personally.

I'm sorry, but anyone who tells me God spoke to them is trying to rationalize the wacko voices in their heads.
People like Pat Robertson exist solely to exploit and manipulate people, and they use "God" as their leverage. Think about it - would you believe him if he just said that *HE ALONE* thinks we're going to face a huge terrorist attack (which, quite honestly, any fool can make a prediction like that with the way the world is today. I'd say the odds are 50%) would you believe him? Probably not. So he preys on your faith and tells you that God told him.
He makes me ill.

Hell no, I don't believe a word that comes out of that man's mouth. Pat Robertson (IMO) is creepy.
He also said that God told him the US is "feigning" friendship with Israel.
Robertson also said somehting else about what God told him about Israel last year.
He's very anti-Semetic, I think.

Okay here are some things to ponder:
1) Why would g-d choose Pat Robertson to speak through?
2) Pat is an evangalist...he takes the bible and all that a wee bit too literally
3) The dude is cuckoo for cocoa puffs, anyone can predict the future and have a 50/50 chance of being accurate.
I predict I will drink a Coca Cola and a bottle of water in 2007. I also predict I will eat a sandwich and a cookie!

And even if ---and that is a big IF someone could predict the future and knew we were going to be hit with a terrorist attack in the 2nd half of the year....what would you do? Stay inside for 6 months?
