watching my sisters kids
so i'm in massachussets watching my sisters 3 kids ages 2, 3 and 7 while she's in hawaii..nice right? only problem is that my dad is here too and we have such different ways of parenting. we've been fighting all day with each other and we still have 7 days to go until she comes home. any thoughts on how to ease the pain i see ahead of me? i really need some help with this. i don't want the kids to suffer. tia

did your sister ask you or your dad to watch the kids? If she asked you then I would say tell your dad to take a chill pill... If she asked Him then you take a chill pill

she asked me. dad is moving up here once he sells his house to live with her so he's just here all the time now.  every time i tell him to relax he starts to yell.

Maybe plan some out of the house activities away from grandpa???
Maybe have grandpa take the older child while you do something with the little ones??
Send grandpa out of the house on an errand???
Can grandpa get involved in some project regarding his move???
Whatever you do I wouldnt involve your sister. She's on vacation and cant do anything about from 11 hours away anyway...Although Im sure she's going to owe you big time!!!
