Water Parks or Kid Friendly Place in NJ?
Hi, looking to meet up with a friend and her kids in NJ. She's coming from PA, so we are looking for something to do with the kids (ages 4&6) and meet somewhere in the middle, preferably a water park or something to keep kids cool. Any suggestions?

Land of Make Believe Mountain Creek Water Park
Have you been to Mountain Creek? It's not kid friendly at all. It's tons of uphill walking, and very steep slides and attractions. I was going to take my kids, and am glad I read the reviews.

No, I have not been there. I did not realize that it was not kid friendly. What a bummer. Is it hillier than Hershey?

Land of make believe would probably be great!! It's not far off rt. 80... Although probably closer to PA. Lots of dry rides good for that age group, plus a big water park area with splash area, lazy river and some big water slides.

I think so since Mountain Creek is a ski hill in the winter.

Thank you everybody! I also saw a zoo in West Orange that looked promising, but it looks like the Land of Make Believe is a popular choice too! I'll check it out!

The Turtleback Zoo is supposedly very nice - haven't been there yet.
There is a cute little zoo in Paramus too at Van Saun Park - there is a train ride that goes around it, a carosel and a huge playground too.

The Turtleback zoo is cute. It has a train you can ride on too. McDonalds is across the street.
