Water sono tomorrow -- what can I expect?
Tomorrow at 1pm. DH and I started taking our antibiotics today. Paperwork in the folder says to go with a moderately full bladder, but my IVF nurse says it doesn't matter b/c they have you empty it before the procedure. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

Mine was okay. You feel some pressure. It was uncomfortable but not terrible. It was over pretty quickly. GL

I felt nothing, my bladder was empty. Some people say it feels like a pap, or a mock transfer but I felt nothing. You can take some Tylenol in case you have some cramping. Good luck

It's fast and pretty easy. Not as bad as a HSG. It's weird feeling the saline go in u and u feel like u r peeing. Slight cramping. Over in a few min.

I cramped up during mine about as much as during my HSG and mock transfer. It was over pretty quickly, though. Good luck!

Mine was over before I even realized it had started. No discomfort at all.

The worst part for me was the metal speculum things they insert at every gyno visit. The water part didn't bother me at all. I had some cramping later on from my cervix being opened but nothing crazy.

Thanks so much, ladies! The procedure was virtually painless and was over in no time. I agree, kristen10, the worst part was the speculum going in and pressure clamping it open! Everything went great -- no problems and cleared to officially move forward with IVF.

thanks for posting an update! I'm waiting for AF (after D&C) to have one done. I'm glad it wasn't that bad.
