Not bad. We have more to put in, but we need to break out the ladder for them. Otherwise, we're getting there.

We got them at Target. I mean, each bulb was aobut $3.50-$4.50, but I figure a few here, a few there.

Did you see in the news today that they will be mandated for the Suffolk country area by 2012.

No, but that is great!
Heres what i found: Suffolk: It's Lights Out for Low-Efficiency Bulbs
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. (AP) -- It's lights out for low-efficiency bulbs -- at least in one Long Island county.
Suffolk County officials and environmental advocates are saying they will order a ban on the purchase of low-efficiency incandescent bulbs in county facilities.
The lawmakers are creating a task force to develop standards to ban the sale of low-efficiency light bulbs in the county by 2012.
County Executive Steven Levy says lowering consumption of energy is both economical and ecological.
The new flourescent energy efficient bulbs use one third the electricity and last longer than traditional incandescent bulbs.

We just bought them for our new kitchen.
I hope they improve the dimmable ones though, because they don't really dim. A nd they are $12 each!
