We had to lower the crib tonight!
DS woke from his earlier nap and started pulling on his mobile! Up until now (he just turned 9 months), he played in his crib and would turn on his mobile, but never successfully reached up to grab it.
Then later today after his other nap, he was grabbing the top edge of the crib and pulling up onto his knees.
Time to lower the crib!
Out of curiosity, is this an average age to lower the crib? Or do most parents do it earlier/later? I have a feeling most parents have had to lower the crib earlier on, but I'm not complaining... being that I'm on the short side, now it's kinda hard to put DS in the crib nice and smoothly

Yay henry!!!! You know allison is a mini beast, we lowered the rails when she was 6m. Sucks to lower them but you'll survive!

yay, its exciting isn't it! 
We lowered it at 8 months, DS doesn't crawl on hands and knees, but he was pulling up to stand at 7m and we were just nervous he was going to learn to sit up from laying soon. He still can't at 9m. BUT he can go from laying on his belly, to sitting on knees, and then pulling up to stand, weird but it works for him I guess.

We had to lower the crib (to the lowest setting) at 6 months
She's a monster lol

We lowered the crib last weekend..DD is 9 and 1/2 months..She enjoys standing in the crib..and biting it too!

DD is 5 months now and we have to lower thr crib, she has a strong grasp and has grabbed at the mobile and edge of the crib. I guess i have to stop being lazy and lower it already

We lowered it the first time at I think 5-6 months. Then we lowered completely at 6.5 months. DD is a beast She is 8 months now and she tries to figure out how to climb out!

i told dh he must lower the crib for one dd tonight, i found her this morning sitting up looking out over the side, the thought of her pulling herself up to stand scares me
eta she will be 7 months next week

yeah, i think we lowered it around that time too. he was starting to cruise at 9mo ish..so we lowered it as low as it can go..LOL.
