It seems like there were several offers so the RE Agent wants to know the highest price we will go... it doesn't look good for us b/c we don't want to go much higher than we offered.  We faxed our offer back to her and she is going to sit down with the sellers tonight to go over everything. We'll see what happens.
Just wish for the best, but if it doesn't happen, it wasn't meant to be and your dream home is waiting for you out there!

That doesn't seem right that the RE agent asked what is the highest you would go, you made your offer and if the seller wants they can counter offer. Unless you have a contract with the agent as a buyer agent, the agent is working for the seller and has their best interest in mind and not yours.
